About Dar Al-Quran:

Since 2015, Dar Al-Quran has been dedicated to fostering a strong Muslim community rooted in our New Zealand identity. We are a full-time Hifdh school and run an Islamic Foundations Madrassa class on Sundays for 80 students. The Hillsborough Masjid is a vital part of our vision, a hub providing a sanctuary for growth, connection, and faith. Overlooking stunning views of the Manukau Harbour, this masjid will serve as the local hub for the Lynfield and Hillsborough Muslim communities.

Dar al Quran has been without a home for the past two years. Despite facing challenges, including eviction from our humble home, we persevered. At Dar al Quran, we believe in building more than just structures; we’re constructing a foundation for our community’s future. The masjid will also serve as a community hub with a library, office spaces, counselling rooms, and a commercial kitchen for hire. These facilities will allow our community to build strong connections in a nurturing and safe environment.
